Matricode Limited was established in mid 2014 and is based in Cambridge UK, which is the birth place of the global ink jet coding, marking, product Identification and Industrial Digital Printing industry.

Matricode Ltd has been founded by Dr Ammar Lecheheb and Jerzy Zaba, backed by other veterans of the industrial inkjet world. Cambridge entrepreneur Professor Alan Barrell, who was Managing Director of Domino printing Sciences Plc and also CEO of Northants based Willett International – both inkjet greats – is executive chairman of the Company.

Dr Lecheheb has 25 years’ experience as a developer of inkjet systems and has over 40 patents to his name. He worked in senior technical and management positions with Domino Printing Sciences, Willett International, Videojet and Tonejet.

Jerzy Zaba, who has over 30 patents to his name, has worked as a senior engineer and executive with Domino, Xaar, Videojet and Tonejet.

Members of the Matricode team have been designing, developing, manufacturing and introducing into the market ink jet printers for the last 20 years. We have been involved in and operated at all levels from Operator, Designers, Engineers, and Project Leaders to Executive Managers. Our team has a combined experience in Coding, Marking, Product Identification and Industrial Digital Ink Jet Printing of more than 100 years and has over 100 patents to their names.

The company’s goal is to develop and deliver high quality coding, marking and product ID printing products. The team’s proven long and consistent track record of designing and managing the development of several of the world’s leading and most successful industrial ink jet printing products that are still in the market today, will ensure that Matricode will continue to introduce robust printing system within short timescales.
